12/16/23 - Members spent their Saturday learning safer fire line practices by watching case studies decusing them as well as a few other refresher points. The members finished the training by practicing fire shelter deployments.

Congratulations to our very own Francis "Lukey " Lukasevich! Lukey was recognized at the annual Wildfire Academy at Shippensburg University for his 50 years of participation within the Wildland Fire Crew program. He was a member of one of the very first crews to leave Pennsylvania on a Western fire assignment in 1973 and has been involved with the program continuously since then.  Lukey is a true asset to the Weiser Support crew and we are very luck to have him.
